Account determination in Asset class

Hi

I have created a new asset class by copying an existing asset class. I changed the Account determination in the new class but kept the screen layout rule and number range the same as the existing asset class. When I tried to create an asset using the new asset class, the account determination being displayed from the asset class that was used to copy the new asset class. Can someone please help me with this issue?
