VB 2008 deployment with CR.Net crashes

I use Visual Studio 2008 with Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio. I can create a setup project with no problems but when I attempt to run the resulting setup.exe on ANY machine (except my development machine), I crash immediately. When I open up the details of the crash report (the one Microsoft asks that you send to them), I see "system.invalidoperationexception". I have nothing else to go on to understand why this is happening.

Any help or insights as to what might be going on here would be greatly appreciated.
