The previous year period is closed for adding and updating Bank Statements

Our customer retrieves the following error while saving a new bank statement:

The previous year period is closed for adding and updating Bank Statements , '2009' [Message 10003503-62]

What happened is that the last finalized BS was saved with a wrong date (in 2010) and the next statement to be saved has a date in 2009.

All related posting periods are unlocked, so this could not be the problem.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem, so we can finalize ths bankstatement?

After fix of SAP this issue is solved.

Kindly check the Note no. : 1429956 if the issue mentioned relates to the scenario in the Note.

Thank you for your reply.

I also checked note 1347840, however we tested it op SP01 PL9 and the issue still exists.

Do you suggest to log a message to SAP support?

Are the balances correct for the bank Statement? The Ending and the Opening Balances?

Also, you can raise a support ticket to SAP regarding the issue.
