Copy planning function doesnot read values from the workbook cells!!!

Hi,

For the better look and feel i implemented a macro which takes calmonth as an input through VB text box and saves it in a cell of my work book. Now i need my copy function to read that value and take that as an input to the variable (from calmonth or To calmonth). Theres a way to do it according to SAP Note 1298688. I just dont understand anything from the SAP Note. Can anyone eloborate.
