Attachments BSP - do not open in Internet Explorer 8

Hi,

We've created a BSP application and used the following two blogs to add/display attachments to our BSP:

- /people/raja.thangamani/blog/2007/06/27/bsphow-to-create-attachment-in-business-transactions

- /people/raja.thangamani/blog/2007/07/16/bsphow-to-displaydelete-attachment-from-business-transactions

We can add our attachments, so there is no problem there.

The problem is the following:

When we try to display the attachments (for example: .doc files), it does not work in Internet Explorer 8. ( A new window pops up, but it closes again immediately ). (for some people .pdf files do work in IE8, others have the same problem as with the other file types).

The strange thing is, that it works perfectly in Firefox and Internet Explorer 6, just not in IE8.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this problem?
