LSO installation ECC6

After I migrated the ECC system to a new server and installed Trex on it, I need to install Learning Solution 603

LSOFE 600 (Frontend IViews)

LSOCP 600 Content player online

LSOOP 600 Content player offline (local install on client)

LSOAE 600 (Authoring Environment)

My problem comes with the Authoring Environmet installation.

I use JDK 1.6 which also by SAP was recommended to me to install. On clicking on LSOAE the installation screen tells me I do not have a valid JDK version and need to install a new one.

Anybody had the same issue?
