BlackBerry Sales Client ---> Days not synched, Extract stopped

Hi all,

we are using the mobiles Gateway in the DOE to work with the BlackBerry Sales Client for SAP CRM. The devices are receiving data, can edit data etc.

But in the Admin Portal, for all devices the Warning for "Days not synched" is active. It says that the "extract has been stopped".

Does this extract affect the SalesClient, due to the fact that the devices are still receiving data. Could this warning be suppressed by adding extract jobs for all relevant Data Objects in sdoe_bg_job_mon?

Thanks & Regards,

Tobias

By using CRM Sales application, all data objects have been enabled for synchronous extract. So, there is no need create a job for data object extract. Gateway uses different channel other than DEFAULT. Could you please check the channels assigned to the device in Device administration portal?

Hi Siva,

you were right. I forgot we are using synchronous mode. The Channel used by the devices is DOE_WSE_CONNECTOR, not DEFAULT, so i think everything is ok.

Thank you for your help, this helped for my understanding.

Regards,

Tobias

AFAIK, the default channel (outbound queue) is not used by devices which use the gateway => The warning will stay.

Now, if you configure any kind of extract, you will bloat up your outbound queues with data which will never be cleared (because no device is consuming it).

=> No point extracting data which wont be read

I was wrong. The data is read from the outbound queue only. The message is probably displayed incorrectly? I dont really know. Sorry for the misinformation
