Standard WD ABAP component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT View CNR_VIEW

Hello Experts,

I have one application using the standard component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT View CNR_VIEW. Having two buttons Save and Close.

I need to add a pop up message to close button.

But when I look into the view of the component I am not able to see any button UI element over there. Insted i a seeing one transparent container but no buttons.

Please suggest

    Hi Pradeep,

The Component you are talking about FPM_OIF_COMPONENT is a reusable component and is used for creating application layouts. This component involves a type of layout named as Object Instance Floorplan.

Buttons added on to your application are not contained inside CNR_VIEW but are added onto your FPM application while creating FPM Application Configuration for the same.

You have to first fetch the name of underlying WebDynpro Component using this FPM Application Configuration. This you can find out by clicking on related Application Configuration and then clicking on button Start Configurator.

Then you have to select the row with FPM_OIF_COMPONENT and click on display.

There you can find out the underlying WebDynpro Component and Window using that configuration.

Once you know the WebDynpro Component then we can write code in Process_Event method of that Component Controller.

For more documentation on FPM you can search for FPM Cookbook on the net.

    Regards

      Hi

      Close button comes by default.

and event id for close button will be FPM_CLOSE.

So in your PRocess_event method of your component controller you can write a case statement as mentioned earlier and can catch the event being raised, and write your processing logic.
