Cost element values are not getting fixed and variable at cost center level

Dear Experts,

This is Balaji , In our costing system we have planned fixed and variable figures for each cost elements at cost center level at the time of cost center planning ok.and we have posted actual values from FI.,but these values are entirely appearing on variable side.but generally these posting values should appear on fixed side."i give one example, if iam planning maintainence salary of Rs 1000 for that element at cost center level and If i am posting from FI for that element,it entirely appearing on total variable side".

"but after actual price calculations it will showing fixed and variable values". could you give a right solution for this.

Hi Balaji,

SAP doesn't provide facility to post expenses under fixed/variable buckets during FI posting.This same value is getting reflected under variable cost of CO which default in nature.

You can further classify this FI posting into fixed/variable portion which mainly used for mangement reporting.

Original expenses posted from FI will be always reflected as variable in CO.
