Deploy fails

Hi,

I'm developing a business object in NWDS according to the developer's guide "Developing and Composing Applications" -> "Composing Services with CAF" -> "Getting Started" -> "Developing your first business Object".

I created the project as described but the deploy fails with the following message:

DC carpool/metadata does not contain any archives for deployment".

Any idea ?

Create the archive file before deployment .

Hi,

In composite application perspective follow the steps like generate,build and deploy.If deploy fails we can see "deploy failed or aborted " in console of NWDS.And also how many projects deployed out of 5 created in CAF.Then only we can say deployment failed.And also before deploying ensure that SAP AS J2EE configured or not in preferences of NWDS.If it doesn't works then clearly mention what version nwds using.

I am facing the same issue as yours.

SAP AS JAVA is configured properly.

How did you resolved this issue.

Just in case anyone else gets this problem - I experienced the same thing even though my SAP Servers were correctly configured under preferences, but it sorted itself out when I restarted NWDS.
