How to default the search help for Vendors

To retrive the Vendor through search help, client wants particluar search help to be defaulted for user always. is there a way to make particlay search help always defaulter for user.

for example 'Vendoy by Material' to be defaulted always, what needs to be done?

Have a look at the following.

To find the technical name run the search help and get a results list. Then right click on any field and choose Technical Info option.

Use SE11 'Search Help' option to view (and maintain)

I've never been asked for your requirement but a techie could probably tell you very quickly if there's a std way to default given the above info.

If u select Vendor by Material,then it will be default until u goes for search by help in another way(Ex:Vendor Purchasing etc.,)

Hi

Thats not happening.

if I Change the search help to Vendor by Purchasing. Next time, it is NOT defaulting to 'Vendor by Purchasing' It is showing 'Vendor by Material' which was previously used.
