ABAP dump "Raise Execption"

Hi All,

When we execute a job which has one program and a variant the job gets cancelled and gives ABAP dump as below;

"RAISE_EXCEPTION" " "

"SAPLSPOX" or "LSPOXU02"

"RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB"

This job is for running a report and its variant and then sending mail.

Could anyone please tell me what does this mean? any solution for it?

Hi Nandan,

the error points to a problem with creating the Spool Output, but I guess this is no news to you.

There are 7 SAP notes around if you search just with the key word RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB in http://service.sap.com/notes, not sure if one of those applies to your system.

Another attempt to solve this problem would be to try to minimize the scope of the list you are producing and test if you get the same error for a smaller selection. Try another variant. Maybe the result is really just to big to be put into an email/spool.
