Material Master - Field in MM to enter NDC (National Drug Code) or similar

Hallo Experts,

Is there somewhere in the material master where one can enter codes for identification such as NDC - National Drug Code?

The reason I asked this is because it is a custom requirement for some goods that are considered drugs which we trade with other companies across the border (Mostly US). This information (Coming from a field in the MM) needs to be EDI'd and hence I am in search of a field in the MM that could house this code. Its Kind of like the Harzadous material number but in our case WM is not implement. Is there a possibility?

Have you thought of using EAN/UPC code field in the material master record?

MARA-EAN11 field.
