Hi

I am a complete newcomer to SAP.

I have been a freelance developer for over 15 years working mostly in VB and similar languages. I have much experience of developing for Sage UK products as well as the MYOB system. I have also been involved with IT as a programmer/systems analyst for around 30 years - a lot of early work on mainframes.

My most significant customer looks like moving across to SAP sometime in the next 18 months and has asked me to start thinking about obtaining the necessary experience and skills to be able to support them through the migration and to redevelop the multitude of production and other systems that I have developed for them over the last 10 years.

My question to this community is: Can I have your advice as to where to start?

What skills will I need to obtain?

What languages will I need to learn.
