Hi,

In routing, the cycle time is maintained. If there are more number of pieces produced, then you enter the base quantity also. By default, the base qty is 1.

Suppose there is an oven, it can accomodate 100 pcs for baking, then the base qty for Oven would be 100 and the setup and other times would correspond to 100 pcs production.

Now when the production order is for 500 pcs. then this operation would take 5 cycles to complete the order requirements.

And, if the order qty is less than hundred it will take the figures for 100 pcs only (and not less or on pro-rata basis)

Also pls check the formulae for work centers pertaining to base qty etc.

Hope that clears some of your doubts. For more pls elaborate and revert.

Regards,

Rohit.

Dear Yadav,

above timings in routing you can find option base qty

if base qty is 1 then for 1 your giving timings

if base qty is 10 or any other value then your giving timings for that
