Hi all,

When I execute a report in WEBi over SAP BW I'm getting a "System error in program CL_RSD_MULTIPROV and form GET_IOBJNM_PROVID-03-".

I'm running WEBi on SAP BW 7.01 SP5.

Thanks

Did you build your universe on top of a query or infocube?

Hi Stratos,

The universe was built on top of a BEx query and the query is on a Multiprovider

Hi

can you please check if your BEx query as changed since the universe was created? You can try to refresh the universe by opening it in the universe designer and refreshing it (View->Refresh structure). Export the universe back to your BO server and try again.

Hi Stratos,

Thanks agian for your reply.

Actually we aren't using "View->Refresh structure" option because that option invalidates all the WEBi reports built on top of the universe

Hi

this is not true for your version (since you have installed FP 2.2). Did you actually make this experience yourself or just heard about it?

We heard about that, and we did some test for ourselves at the begging of the project. But we didn't test it with the FP 2.2 installed

I think this was a bug that occured under special conditions if you had SP 2 installed. Still this is fixed with a Hot Fix and the correction was included in Fix Pack 2.1. So your version should not have the problem

Hi Stratos,

We tried to use View->Refresh structure option but all the filters we made with the <FILTER> tag were replaced with Unknown objects instead of the original objects even with objects build with @Select pointing to the original object.

hi guys,

based on the error message it is clear that something goes wrong on the SAP BW side already.

Can you try to run the MDX in transaction MDXTEST ?

based on the error message you also might want to look into the following note:

Note 1090490 - Buffering the MultiProvider runtime object

Hi Ingo,

That note solve the problem, thanks a lot
