User Exit PPCO0001 not working

we modified the components of the production order by adding and changing values in the COMPONENT_TABLE. When we leave the user exit, the values look as expected. However, these values do not get reflected in the Production Order. Is there something that we are missing?

Are there any special settings that need to be made etc...?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Please read the following information, provided in SAP Note 1855055:

Customer enhancement PPCO0001 (EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001):

1. Can this customer enhancement be used to change data?
   No, this enhancement is not designed for data changes. The order data is provided in form of a document (that is, in the internal format), and you can update customer-specific tables based on this data. Useful is, for example, the update of the order number in a customer-specific table when you want to create IDocs of the message type LOIPRO using the program RCCLORD in a customer-specific program based on this table.

Thanks for your reply.

I am working in sync with ABAP consultant we are doing the changes while debugging.
But the changes made does not reflect in the production order.
