GRC 5.3 CUP Move to production

Former Member

We have a GRC 5.3 sp09 implementation that we need to move from development to production. Unlike RAR, CUP does not seem to have an export/import functionality. Is there a "hidden" way to move from dev to prod? if so, how?

Please refer to this guide to move to Production.

Jack,

You can move most of the configuraion from CUP as well. It is mentioned in the document provide by Ankur.

In the doc it says that the initial data import files NOT be imported.....so how do I do it when the files have been imported? It fails currently

Jack,

Please refer to the Note in Step 4:

Note: This procedure can only be completed successfully if the Initial Data files were not uploaded during the installation phase. If the files were installed, then the import will have to done by each individual XML file using the Append function.

Thanks!

Jack,

You are out of luck. This has to be corrected by SAP. As initial data import is the first step of post-installation steps. So, most of the customers would have taken care of this. The zip file would contain around 200 XML files. I don't think any customer would go through the pain to upload 200 files one by one.
