Kerberos implementation

Dear all,

we have portal on aix with hostname xyz.test.com and we want implement Kerberos-Authentication for windows domain: test.org. The service user with SPN HTTP/xyz.test.comATtest.org has been created on Active Directory. The configuration has been made with SPNego Wizard.

The problem is that no kerberos tickets are sent to the client (we checked it using kerbtray). We also see that the request for "negotiate" is included in the http request, but as mentioned, no ticket comes from KDC.

Do you know what could be the reason, that no kerebros-tickets are sent to the client?

Thanks for any tips.

Regards,

Karol

    Hi Karol,

The most common issue would be the browser configuration. Since the domain of the service differs from the AD domain, please make sure the server FQDN is listed in Local intranet or Trusted sites zone and that "Automatic logon with current user name and password" is selected. Also make sure you have "Enabled Integrated Windows Authentication" enabled on the Advanced Tab.

    Thanks!

    Kyle
