Any notification to the u201CControlleru201D/ u201COwneru201D that Firefighter has finished

Hello,

Related with Super User Privilege Management (SAP GRC AC 5.3 SPM SP9) and the firefighter user I wanted to know if there is any way of controlling when the firefighter has finished the session. I mean: is there any notification to the u201CControlleru201D/ u201COwneru201D that Firefighter has finished?

Thanks in advance

Frank, thank you for your help.

But this "send log file immediately", does not send any email when the Firefighter ends, right?, it only puts the ending in the log file.

Best regards.

Hello Pablo,

The notification is controlled by as and when the job /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK is executed. It is not dependent on the time when the FFID is stopped being used. Thus it solely depends on when you have scheduled your job to run that you get the report. For instance if you have configured this Job to run on every First day of the month and then the FFID executes some trasaction on 2nd of January, you wil get the reports delivered on the first of Feb.

Thus, you may configure this report as per what frequency matches your requirements or can schedule it anytime you want.

Regards,

Hersh.

There are two possible notifications that you can configure in SPM:

- send login notification immediately - the owner gets notified as soon as someone starts using the ID

- send log file immediately - the controller gets notified (through the log file) that a user has logged off

These usually get sent after the log file creation batch job runs, but you can configure that to run immediately.

No Pablo. There isn't any notification which could be sent as soon as the firefighter session ends.
