Flexible upload

Hi All,

I have requirement that when i upload (flexible upload) with text file with local currency field not filled it does not load into BCS,but when the same file is loaded with local currency filled it gets loaded and data can be viewed in BCS total records,

the above upload is done in production.

But if the same is done in test server i.e upload with local currency field blank it gets uploaded and data can be viewed in BCS total records.

I have checked the configuration in both Test and production landscapes in both there is no difference as such.

Can someone suggest appropriate solution on the above.

Hi Dan and Kamal,

The issue is resolved when we re-ran flexible upload but i could not find any reason why system is behaving differently on diffrent dates for the same templates.

Can you please provide any suggestions

Many thanks to you for your reply.

This has nothing to do with reporting logic,otherwise the same template would not have been uploaded in TEST server.

I am not getting any error or warning message while uploading the file in production,the data is not visible in total records in BCS.

Hi Dan,

I have checked master data of consolidation units in both test and production there are not any differences .

So please suggest any other alternative solution.

Have you tried the system compare - program UC_CUST_COMPARE (T-code UCCC0)?

The is also found in the BCS workbench Tools view (which must be activated) in the Cons-Area-dependent Settings.

This may help point out differences to resolve the issue.

Hi,

This is strange, No error or waring message while uploading data & you can not see the data in list of totals record.

Is it related to reporting logic in list of totals record... please verify.

AFAIK there is tool to compare the configuration of the two system. I have not used this but it may help identify the cause of this issue.

There could be a difference with master data that is causing this too. have you checked that?

Can you please tell us what is the error message you are getting in Production.

This will help us to tell the reason.
