Hi ,
We have a windows box oracle Db and EP 6.0.When i click on configtool.bat.I don know why it is not able to launch the gui.ANy reason? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
If you are logged in as Administrator, still you can run configtool as SIDadm..
Here is the way...
1. Open Command Prompt.
2. type "runas /user:sidadm cmd"
3. It will open new command prompt, which is running in the previledges of SIDadm.
4. step in to the configtool directory and run "configtool.bat"

Hi Ambarish Annapu,
Config tool is offline one and it can be opned even if java instance is not running.
What error it is showing after clicking on config.tool.bat?
I think connection with database is failing. check R3trans -d results.

Hi ,
There can be many reasons for this.
1.No connection to database
2.You are trying to open this via other user than SIDadm.
3.Java is not up.
kindly check all these options & let us know what error message you are getting in your case.
Thanks..
Mohit
