Dear Experts,
I have two situations here.
1) I create a query to trace the Approval Procedure status, from there, authorizer can open the approval procedure and make decision for it. However, i found out there is a few authorizer, when they open the approval procedure from the query, they cannot update the decision. checked the user's authorization and even set the user as superuser, still the decision field appear in the grey.
2) Then, I tried to open the SAME approval procedure from the standard menu and also from alert, the user that having problems with query just now, can make decision as usual (the decision field is in update mood, not grey).
My concern is, why from the query that user cannot make the decision? its only happen for certain user. my query only linked between OWDD and ODRF.
Kindly advise.
Dear Experts,
Any opinion on this issue?

Hi,
It looks like a bug and it is suggested to raise a Support Incident to SAP Support team.

Dear Balakumar,
Thank you for your feedback.
At first, i want to conclude it as a bug. However, i did try replicate this similar issue at a few different database (my side-using test DB provided by SAP, and client side-Their live DB and test DB), We have the similar issue.
I also upgraded the SAP to version 9.3, the issue is still there.

Raise an incident to SAP may be its system behaviour for some license types

Dear Nagarajan,
Thank you for your response.
1) Share your query here.
I cannot share the whole query here for certain reason. But i did try with a simple query as below. Thus, I click the wdd code, to open the approval procedure, however the decision field is grey(not in update mode). when i open the approval procedure from alert, i can select decision as usual.
SELECT T1.WddCode,T2.DOCNUM FROM [dbo].[OWDD] T1 INNER JOIN ODRF T2 ON T1.DOCENTRY=T2.DOCENTRY
2) authorization assigned to user.
user do not has full authorization for all menu. but using professional license.
-I did testing by set the user as superuser, but noting change.
-I compare user's authorization(User A) with another user than can make the decision from the query(User B)--> copy User B authorization to user A authorization, also nothing change.
Kindly advise.
