Calling a .Net Web Service from ABAP FM

Hi guys.

Let me give u some questions.

I'm programming a ZFM in ABAP that must call a .NET Web Service. I mean, is there a possiblility to call directly to any .NET Web Service. Do you know how to do this feature?

My use case is: I want to run a process in background that every 10 minutes catches cost centers and investment orders information and send it to the .NET Web Service that at the same time communicates the results to another system.

And also, is possible to establish a FM running in background every 10 minutes? Could you explain me how?

And finally, in the worst case, (and sorry if this is not an explicit SAP topic-I've problems with a firewall that I can't connect to any web site NOW) do you know how to configure a .NET Web Service's in execution every N minutes?

(Extra information: All Web Services are running and developed in C#.NET, and not running in SAP WAS).

    Hello,

For .NET Web service, you can create a consumer proxy using SE80 [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/81/845f3c31727d59e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]

Now, you create an ABAP program to call the method of the Proxy class [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/bf/d005244e9d1d4d92b2fe7935556b4c/frameset.htm]

This program may be scheduled to run in every 10 minutes to call the Web Service.

    Thanks,

    Venu
