"Attempting to create outgoing ssl connection without trusted certificates"

Hi,

We are on XI 3.0 sp19, for RNIF 2.0 adapter we are using the SSL certificates from Visual admin key store,

when we are sending test messages to our vendor, we are seeing successful in RWB but our vendor does not receive them, as per our vendor logs that when challenged for client certificate XI server is not providing the certificate.

In our security logs we see a warning "#Attempting to create outgoing ssl connection without trusted certificates#"

and our vendor is worried about this ? what is warning ? why do we see this warning ?

we have configured SSL on XI and we are able to test https url for our XI server.

as this is a dev server, our SSL certs are self signed.

Please help me.

Hi,

We use also PI 7.0 for Rosettanet B2B. We had to buy signed certificates also for the test system.

Otherwise we could not have tested with our business partner. You have to exchange the respective Certification authorities certificates with your business partner.

With RNIF, you have to manage X.509 certificates both for the SSL connectivity and for the RNIF interface for signature and/or encryption and/or non repudiation.
