Maintain the company number for house bank XXX

Hi,

While making advance payment through XXXX house bank we are getting the error .

Maintain the company number for house bank SRV SC004

Message no. F0436

Diagnosis

The company number has not been specified in the DME data for house bank

SC004 in company code SRV ("immediate origin" in the American format

ACH).

System response

Error message.

Procedure

Maintain the company number after selecting the house bank by choosing

Goto -> DME.

Proceed

Why we getting this error suggest.

COmpany number will be picked up either from House Bank config T-code FI12 or from selection variants (format parameter- Company ID) for the ACH format T-code FBPM. May be somebody accidently changed the variant. But it is good practice to maintain the company number in Fi12

Why do we maintain in FI12 is there any particular reason.

Previously we are not maintained but its working today only its showing this error.

Dear,

We maintain house bank to pay and receive payments, it acts like a bank account. Sure, in your configuration also there must be a house bank defined, check FI12 transaction code or may be they have created a new house bank were proper assignment is not happened.
