Hi gurus,

I have this problem:

i am running ko88 on a fixed asset and a recive this error message:

Acquisition value negative in area 04 - message number AA617

I've watched the asset by AB08 and the vaule is positive.

I know that i can set Net book value to 'All values allowed' using OADB but I've not a negative value, and even if i do it i receive the same message for anothr area...

    Hi Roberto,

Have this perhaps something to do with aquqsition postings this and last year?

Some times SAP see a value from 0 as negative (+100-100=-1 or when the controlling area cur is not the same as the company code or depreciation area)

You can set the asset negative values are allowed and do the settlement when wrong you can reverse the settment. Perhaps when you have a actual test system you can test it first there

      Hi,

values are all positive. Not zero, positive..

But the solution that you suggest seems work.

But i don't now why i have the posted problem if the values of all areas are positives.

      thanks,

      Roberto
