FILE To RFC Synchronous

Hi Experts,

IN my FILE to RFC Sync scenario.

I have to call the target BAPI as many time the FiscalYear Node in source is coming.

Now the BAPI occurences in is 1 by default.

With Synchronous Scenario I can't change the occurence to 0..unbounded.(multimapping is not possiblem with Sync Scenario)

So what will the the right solution to handle this type of situation?

Regards,

Sumit Gupta

    Hi,

I can think of the below mentioned possibility.

Creating a z bapi with an additional field in which number of occurrence (Node Fiscal Year) will be passed.

You can call BAPI as many time in the Z-bapi using the additional field value.

use RFC lookup for this one field (FISCAL YEAR) mapping.

    1) you can do this using BPM (split it as a seprate message)

    2) you can also do the thing by using mapping other than Graphical

    3) as suggested above.

In case you are trying out the RFC lookup in mapping way suggested by others this would be of your interest.

Michael posted this blog today : http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/17624 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

It says we should avoid using graphical RFC Lookup at item level(if they are repeating).

The older way is asked to be used as alternative(API in UDF).
