How to Change Withholding tax amount in Payments

Dear All

My client raises a scenario that Withholding tax amount that is dragged from AP Invoice should be amendable in Payment screen. I have checked this scenario and found that if no approval procedure is configured in AP Invoice, then Withholding tax amount can be changed at Invoice level and then it will be copied to Payment.

But, in the mapped solution, AP Invoice will route through an approval hirearchy in the system. So, Withholding tax amount cannot be amendable.

My question is how to change Withholding tax amount at Payment screen in this scenario or kindly provide some other solution for this.

Hi,

AP invoice time you can change the with holding tax amount, i.e book with holding tax at the time of invoice ya payment.

Once we set the amount in invoice level, we cannot edit it in payment screen because those values are updated on the tables.

other wise you have to pass manual journal entries,
