Following this tutorial on commands in AE https://blogs.sap.com/2018/01/05/commands-in-sap-iot-application-enablement/ we encountered an issue:
We are able to enter and save commands into the respective property of our Thing. However, these commands do not reach our device, which we monitor via Node-Red. Yet the device receives commands if we either:
1.) Send them via the classic version of the IoT Service Cockpit
2.) Or send the command via POST request to the respective IoT Service Cockpit API
In both cases the commands reach our device and can be displayed in Node-Red, suggesting an erroneous configuration in the IoT Application Enablement. We followed the tutorial closely though and copied everything except the parts to be replaced with our tenant id. The Thing/Sensor Mapping looks good as well.
We would appreciate any kind of help or suggestions as to what could have gone amiss. Thank you.
