HI,
When i am generating and printing TDS Certificates I am getting an error saying "Number Range generation failure". I am seeing the Number ranges created in the below path.
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide >> Financial Accounting>> Financial Accounting Global Settings >> Withholding Tax >> Extended Withholding Tax >>Postingsà India >> Remittance Challans >> Maintain Number Groups / Assign Number Ranges to Number Groups/ Maintain Number Ranges
PLease let me know if i am missing some where?
Thanks
Ramakrishna
Dear,
To maintain TDS Certificate number range, use below transaction.
1. Use transaction SM30 and enter J_1IEWT_CERT_N in the Table/View field then click on maintain.
2. Fill all necessary information and enter J_1IEWT_CERT in Form.
Perform entire configuration for below path.
SPRO>Financial Accounting>Financial Account Global Settings>Withholding tax>Extended withholding tax>Posting>India>Withholding tax certificate for Customers and Vendors.

Dear,
You need to do the configuration in spro path:SPRO- Financial Accounting (New)>Financial Accounting Global Settings
(New)>Withholding Tax>Extended Withholding Tax>Posting>India>Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendors and Customers>Maintain Number Groups and SAPscript Forms
and maintain Maintain Number Ranges and assign Assign Number Ranges to Number Groups, this will be in the same path as above.
HI..
You can get the wht certificate information with the table "with_item"
As per the standard sap once you have taken the printout of wht then the system won't give any data with the transaction J1INCERT for generating the certificate. For that you have to run the t.code J1INREP
Try to post one more scenario in test environment and let me know if the certification numbering problem still exist
1. FB60: Vendor Invoice with section code
2.J1INCHLN :Remittance challan creation
3.J1INBANK:bank challan updation
4.J1INCERT:WHT Certificate print
Verify the fiscal years 2009 & 2010 has maintained the certificate number ranges are not.. with the differenct tds sections 194C, 194I, 192B etc
Thanks..
Hi Ramakrishna,
If TDS certificate is printed once, you cannot take the print using J1INCERT/ J1INCCERT unless you cancel the certificate by using t-code J1INCANC. If the certificate is already printed, you can take the reprint by using t-codes J1INREP/ J1INCCREP.
If you have maintained the SECCO, you can see the certificate info in J_1IEWT_CERTIF_N. IF you have maintained the Business Place, you can see the details of certificate in the table J_1IEWT_CERTIF.
I hope this clarified your questions.
Best Regards,
Vibin
