Hi,

Yes it is possible. You will get a warning message that all key figures are hidden , but still you will be able to run the query.

What's the reason to have a query without any KF??

I ask it because there might be another solution.

Thanks for all the responses, totally understand that this is not normal - but fits in with the specific requirement which also requires enrichment hence is not really possible in terms of master data reporting

Hi Gurus,

I am facing a similar issue. I am trying to hide the only KF in the report and I am getting output as "No applicable data found".

Can you please tell me how did you rectify this issue.

I have checked with both the "hide" options, but its still not working.

Your valuable inputs would be really appreciated.

Hi akreddy,

There will be no results if the query has only one key figure and it is hidden.

Such query makes no sense to me.

The only logical way I can think of having this query is: have this only key figure properties as Hidden (Can be Seen).

so users can change the local setting of the query when they want to see the report results.

Hi,

Yes, It is possible,

In Query Designer you can hide the Key Fures in two ways 1) Always Hide, 2) Hide (Can be shown)

Always Hide: in the report output you cant see if you want also,

Hide Can be shown : in the report out by default the KF will not display but if you want you can make it visible by going to the KeyFigure Propoerties in the report output.
