Extending Pipeline Performance Management

Hello All,

My client is looking into the PPM functionality. They would like to extend the display of charts additionally from the standard content. Is it possible to do so and if so, what are the limitations?

Thanks for you reply.

    Hi Sheikna,

Graph can be displayed in the Web UI where BSP application is developed using the IGS (Internet Graphics Server).

IGS can be installed from service market place or looks like it is default installed on the system.

This IGS software listens on HTTP and/or RFC ports. It accepts the input in UTF-8 XML format then deliver in the graphics format.

We can define our own class where we need to implement two interface for graph data. This class will be used as model class for displaying the graph.

    - IF_GRAPH_DATA_MODEL~GET_DATA_XML

    - IF_GRAPH_CUSTOM_MODEL~GET_CUSTOM_XML

Output of these functions is XML which is accepted by IGS and gets converted in the Graphics.

For ex in the case of PPM_CHARTS component, model class for graph is CL_CRM_PPM_TTD_CHART_MODEL

Please refer to following blow for detail explanation.
