Netweaver Front End Variant - Similar to SAP Variant

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I'm wondering if there's any way that an end user can create a variant. On my Web Dynpro application, I have an area with "Search Criteria" and then when the user presses the "Search" button, the data is displayed below - based on the search criteria. I'm wondering if there is any way that a user can fill out the search criteria and then "save" what then have entered so that it can be "retrieved" at a later date. I would expect this to act similarly to creating a Variant in SAP on a selection screen.

Anyone know if this is possible? Thank you for your help in advance.

it's not out-of-box, but you can refer to:
