Hi,
I've created a smartform with two pages (every page has the same main window), when I try to do a print preview I see only the first page.
I've setted also the next page attribute (in the first the next page the attribute is the second page and in the second the next page remain the same).
It's normal?
Thanks for answers.
Hi,
From what you describe the settings sound correct.
A basic question I know, but when you run the test print there is enough data to fill the first page and force a second page isn't there?

Nick

Hi,
Let's say the main window on your first page will fit 6 lines of data, if you only pass 3 lines from the print program there is no need to print a second page, so only one page is printed.
If you pass more than 6 lines a secong page is needed to display all records, so a second page is displayed. If there are still records left a third is printed (the second page again) and so on.

Nick
Hi,
Why so strange? The pages you've defined are dynamic, the number of pages in the output is set by the amount of data you pass to the form. If I print for example, a purchase order with one line item I would expect it to print one page, it doesn't matter how many pages there could be in the form, or how many the designer as defined.
If you want to test a two page version of the form create some test data that will fill the first page and force a second page.

Nick
Did you press the "page down" button as opposed to scrolling down?
