copy log configuration from another system

HI all,

i try to copy the log configuration from one java system to another to harmonize

the log settings. I tried to do this with the config tool and download path

> cluster_data -> server -> ID_XXXX -> kernel custom-log-configuration.xml.

And then upload on the same path to the new system on all server nodes.

After that get millions of info entries from com.sap.security.core.performance.performanceTrace.

It seems that the log configuration is still different.

Anyone another save way to duplicate log configuration setting ?

thanks

Thomas

Thomas,

I think, the log configuration contains the server0 id number embedded ,probably it got detected and shows the old config.

Thanks,

HI Shyam,

the log configuration xml does not contain any server id, or i don't see it ?

We have Portal with NW2004S SPS18.

Any other ideas to transfer log config without doing it by hand.

thanks

Thomas
