My WorkSpace Displaying Blank on Launch of Existing Files

I have a 100+ iteration of a dashboard build that is now displaying blank everytime I launch the current version, prior version, one before that. Have rebooted computer, have navigating between Quick Views, nothing is getting it to show. When I choose Preview the layouts are visible but returning to the application does not bring up the display.

Could someone please provide guidance this is maddening...

    Hi David

    Can you open the .xlf file on another PC and see the components?

    Can you see the components in the Object browser?

    Deleting the following key from the registry has also been known to work.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Xcelsius\Settings\en

      Here is how to reset the user defined settings (window sizes, which windows are open) in the registry.

      You should make a backup of your windows registry before making any changes...

      1). Close Xcelsius down.

      2). Run regedit. (Start > Run > regedit)

      3). Navigate to and delete this key:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Xcelsius\Settings

      4). Then start Xcelsius and you should be good to go again.

      If in doubt, or your PC is locked down from making registry edits, ask the local IT support to do this.
