ESS Iviews are not displaying.

Hi Experts,

After configuring ESS, condition is , i can get only ivews displayed blank. when i click on change own data , ivews gets open and it is blank. Who's who iview is also displayed blank.and for all the tab, first screen is getting displayed. and when clicking on next . Displaying blank screen.

For Eg: when clicking on personnel information , address,bank information..etc getting displayed but when clicking on address, iviews displayed blank.

checked back end configuration , all are configured.

Kindly suggest me to solve the problem.

Hi Arun,

Did you check the PCD in resource (backend)?

eg.: ROLES://path....

Hi Arun, to discard any authorization issues use SU01 and SU53 transactions.

Also, check that the corresponding apps were correctly deployed.

I am also facing the same the problem, did u manage to solve it?

all the the config is correct, but it is not displaying the iView.

Hi,

I have identified the issue. Problem is with the authorisation roles in back end.

We have assigned proper roles in the back end, but it was not generated. Not its working

Hi jayanti,

i identified the issue. but not yet solved.

All the backend roles are generated, so no problem in back end sys.

i have updated permission for the users , Now the issue is solved and iviews are working are properly.

But for particular user alone , the problem still continues. because when i update the permission , it is not getting updated.

i checked under monitoring tab--> locked object - no object or user id is locked. i cannot updated the permission for that user id.

but the actual problem solved. kindly suggest to solve the permission issue..

Hi again! If you refer to Portal Roles, when you update Roles is suitable clean & synchronize the Portal cache (System Admin > Navigation).

Also, when you change a SAP Role, ensure that you generate it after made changes.

If still not solve your issue, please detail the error; the apps which the user cannot access and the error description that he/she is getting.

Hi SergioSarasti,

User is created in both portal and R3. So that the permission assignment is not possible in system administration.

Two user with the same user id but with different data source is created. so i deleted one user and assigned roles to the left out user and saved the permission . Now it is working .

Issue is on permission, since permission is not saved in portal , User cannot get the acessiblity.

Please ensure you are operating the required components and stack as per

Please also check that the user role matches the Homepage Framework setup and that that Homepage

Framework definitions for the resources and services are correct and reflect PCD and user role

- for the default role you can check the same entries in client 000
