Now we want MRP run should be done at Depot and warehouse also which are also plants , requirement is such that when each Depot Run the MRP for their respective requirement and the result of MRP run will be stock tranfer oder .in this way all other depots will do the job , the consolidated requirement from all the depots will come to warehouse and warehouse will also run the MRP and the here also result will be stock transfer order . At last MRP is run at manufacturing plant here all the Purchase requisition and other planned order will be generated. How can we map the same in System

1.Define Scope of Planning for Total Planning(opoe)

1.1 - Define a scope of planning like ( ZMRP)

1.2 - Define the sequence ofplants for MRP run with counter / plant ETC

For example your sequnece should be

1-Depot ( all the depot plant number

2-warehouse ( all the warehouse plant number)

3.manufacturing plant ( all your mfr plant number

2.Once you have then in the Md01 and run the MRP

here it will run in the sequence defined in teh counter

Hi,

It is exactly the way it works in SAP. With the use of Special Procurement Key in the material master MRP view "Stock Transfer from Plant XXX you create a multi plant planning situation, where if a material is to be procured because of shortage in a plant, a stock transfer requisition is created by MRP, which is the converted into a stock transfer order from the supplying plant.

It is not evident what you want now. The previous posts have given you the standard solution (destination plant, which is your warehouse, will have a special procurement type (stock transport orders) entered into the material masters). Create an MRP scope in which your mrp first runs against the warehouse plants, then the manufacturing plants.

Briefly, here is a high level description of the process:

Sales order requirement is entered against warehouse plant.

MRP runs first in the warehouse plant

Net requirements calculation finds shortages. Special procurement type creates Purchase req for Stock transport order, which points to the supplying plant.

Above purchase req creates requirement in supplying plant (manufacturing plant).

MRP runs in the supplying plant. Net requirements calculation creates planned orders to build product

Convert all proposals to orders.

Production order in supplying plant is completed and delivered to supplying plant stock.

Supplying plant Stock room issues the stock to the Stock Transport order

Material is shipped via the Stock transport order to the destination plant (warehouse).

Material is received into the destination warehouse

Material is issued to the sales order.

What else do you want? For more details, you might consider the sap help on Stock Transport orders
