Hi ,
I am trying to find a way to change the VAT % for only a specific material , domestic taxes should be maintained . I am not able to find a way to change it only for a specific material as there's no field for material . Could someone guide me how to change it ?
Cust tax Material tx Amount Tx code
1 A 2.00 ca
In material master I see only A ,1 ,9 are used for full tax , so I am not sure if i can use some other material tax class other than these . 1,9 and A is already used by some other materials . So is there a possibility I can use from the other ones like 3,4,5,6,7 ?, Will it affect my vat % value in any way .

Still not sure what is the challenge in fetching a different VAT. Probably, had you shared for what combination tax condition record is maintained and what is set in material master, that will be easy to understand and assist you accordingly. Nevertheless, have a look at the following different combinations:-
From the above example, in material master, if you set some different tax classification for that particular material and parallelly, maintain the required tax percent in condition record, system would fetch a different VAT % only for that material.

In sale order, you can very well change the tax classification at line item level, which will not have an impact for rest of the line items.

Yes , I can change it . But my question here is , I have changed the material tax classification from 9 to A in material master but there's already 3 other material existed with the same classification . My question here is whenever i'll create order for these material it'll fetch the new VAT % whereas I want it to be only maintain for only one material . I am using full tax here , this is the reason I can only use 1,9, and A as classification .
As long as you have condition record maintained for tax, you can very well change the tax classification at line item level based on which, system would fetch a different value.
