Hi

I am using CATS for time entry against employee

I want to know where we matinain assignment of employee and cost center

In CAT2 tran when I enter employee name and go in the system is showing costcenter .When and come back and enter different name and go in system shows different cost center.

Second I am maintaining rates in KP26 for activity type and cost center.

What are the other ways to mantain rates for the employees for CATS ?

Hi,

You can check for the cost center assignment of employee in PA30. In infotype 1, organization assignment you can view the cost center.

You can maintain rates for employees by KP26 only. Let others also confirm.

In Addition to Kabir response,

Cost Center / Activity Type can come to Time sheet from mainly four diff. Sources, from where it should come that you define in your data entry profile.

1. Info type 0001 - Organization Assignment

2. Info type 0315 - Time sheet default

3. Work Center of your Network activity

4. User Exit or Enhancement.

Irrespective of any source for Cost center activity type combination, you need to define rate in Kp26 as expert suggested.

Hi,

you may use TA KP97 to copy rates from a cost center to another one, or from one time interval to another one.

This is especially helpful when copying rates from one year to the next year.
