Incorrect user appearing as "Created by" for PO output

Hi Gurus,

Basically a PO is created in Prod environment with output Z*** by user A --> PO went for release strategy approval to user B --> User B approves the PO and saves it. --> Output is triggered and in the further data section in the messages for this output "Created by" is appearing as user B intead of user A.

When the same Po is created by user C and approved by user D in development system, then

in the further data section in the messages for this output "Created by" is appearing as user C.

I am not sure what is the correct/standard sap design.

Hi,

If you are using condition record for output determination, you may have to check the value using tcode MN06 in both the systems and which are correctly created.

Also diagnose for different po of different vendors/doc.types whether system is reacting same way.

Also check with user parameter pur.group in both dev & prd systems.

Thanks Rameesa..the issue is not with the "PO created by" but with the "created by" for PO output in the messages section.

Hi,

The standard is the one of your development system.

"When the same PO is created by user C and approved by user D in development system, then

Thanks Akshat, But why is the system behaving in a different manner in prod environment. Should I raise a ticket with SAP or is there anything else which I might need to check ?

Hi,

Sorry, I checked it again in the system, the "Created by" Changes with the logged in User ID in ME22N and ME29N if we save the changes.

Need further analysis.
