Dear Suresh,
Refer to Kerstin's answer, it could be probably concluded that the PL18 of SAP B1 2007B that would be available in this week Feb 1- 5, 2010 is able to use in the windows 7.
I said so because Kerstin said : 'Support of Windows 7 with the SAP Business One 2007 release track is planned to be provided in Q1/2010..". If she referred to patch level as the release track, it means that it is the PL18 of SAP B1 2007B that many end users of SAP B1 are longing for. Why must it be PL18 ? the next release of patch level 19 will be available in the April of 2010.
Is April 2010 laying in the Q1 ? I myself can't imagine that there seems no collaboration between someone in SAP AG who responsible to update the support platform link and patch delivery schedule link.
It seems as same as A release. The most current release track is PL09. The availablility date is week of Jan 11-15, 2010. The next PL release is on week of Apr 5-9, 2010. It is also out of Q1/2010.
So, we could probably conclude and may test that the PL09 of SAP B1 2007A and PL18 of SAP B1 2007B can be used in windows 7.
Hope SAP will be more aware about this issue. Anyway, does SAP know that the windows 8 will be released on 2012 ?
I hope they do not late to upgrade the B1 version so that compatible with the new OS.
It will give a big sales advantage.
Rgds,
JimM
