"Time out expired" for some messages in Conntrans process

Hi Guys,

All of a sudden, we are seeing timeout errors on some laptops. They use SQL 2005 Express and the error message in the trace file is:

Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

at MWImport.DBHandler.ExecNonQuery(StringBuilder& QueryList)

at MWImport.QInDataImport.CurrentStateCheck(String SegName, String where, StringBuilder& AllQueries)

at MWImport.QInDataImport.Task_2_23Q(Hashtable& sbfields, Hashtable& otherfields, String BefImg, String TrStatus, String Segment, String where, StringBuilder& AllQueries, Hashtable& ChkPhyFld)

at MWImport.QInDataImport.ProcessXmlMessage(XmlTextReader& oMsgRdr, MessageType MsgType)

at MWImport.QInDataImport.ReceiveCurrentMessage(String& QBlockerName)

I have updated stats on the tables, restarted the sql server. not much help. Any ideas?
