I have a sample drawing procedure X with the below data:
Primary Sample: Size factor: 1; Size: P2
Pooled sample: Size factor: 1; Fixed number : 1;
Reserved sample: Fixed number: 2; Sample qty: 100 G
There are three operations in my Inspection plan, all having same partial sample number.
Operation 1: 8 MICs
4 MICs with Sampling procedure "A" (sample size: 1)
Base qty: 100 G
4 MICs with Sampling procedure "B" (sample size: 1)
Base qty : 100 G
Other two operations have the same partial sample number.
I created an inspection lot with 4 containers. So, the number of primary sample is 4, number of pooled sample is 1 and reserve sample is 2.
I want to understand why system calculates Pooled sample as 500g. Ideally it should be 100 g- this is what I believe. Could someone help me in understanding?
Hi Dhinesh Panneer,
thank you for the details provided.
Please check the sample calculation based on the information provided on SAP Help:
'Determining the Physical-Sample Sizes'
Have a nice day,
Albert
