Subsequent Change of Cost Centre in PRMD causing incorrect report

Hello Experts,

Have a question where PRMD cost center was changed but without amending the start date of the change. Therefore if you now view the PRMD info of the employee, it looks that the new cost center is correctly showing up but not from the date of change.

For example the original details were: start date 01.01.2008 with cost center 'A' but change was done on 01.07.2009 where cost center was changed to 'B' but without updating the start date as 01.07.2009. This is causing the CCD trans for this employee does not come up when PRCCD is run at company code level. However it correctly shows all the trans when PRCCD is run for only this employee.

Any implications if I change the cost center again from 'B' to 'B' but with a start date of 01.07.2009. Although I have not tried anything yet, but interested to know if this can be done.

Any suggestions or advice would be most appreciated.
