FAGLFLEXA v FAGLFLEXT - out of synch?

Are there any scenarios where the above tables would be out of synch?

Can adjustments be made in FAGLFLEXT directly?

The T (totals) table should only differ from the A (line items) table for the balance carryforward records, I believe.

However, OSS note 1153947 also describes how to write BCF records to the line items table, which would allow you to only do a delta extract from FLEXA as opposed to having to go to FLEXT for the period 0 data.

I don't believe you can adjust FLEXT directly (through standard FI means). What's I'd really like to see from SAP is the ability to add fields to FLEXA and not FLEXT...

I agree with Chris. The "T" is for totals and "A" is for activity.

Cannot look at the system right now. But, AFAIR, *T tables stand for texts (descriptions). So, even if there is out of sync problem, it shouldn't affect much. What the problem in details?
