Are there any scenarios where the above tables would be out of synch?
Can adjustments be made in FAGLFLEXT directly?
The T (totals) table should only differ from the A (line items) table for the balance carryforward records, I believe.
However, OSS note 1153947 also describes how to write BCF records to the line items table, which would allow you to only do a delta extract from FLEXA as opposed to having to go to FLEXT for the period 0 data.
I don't believe you can adjust FLEXT directly (through standard FI means). What's I'd really like to see from SAP is the ability to add fields to FLEXA and not FLEXT...

Cannot look at the system right now. But, AFAIR, *T tables stand for texts (descriptions). So, even if there is out of sync problem, it shouldn't affect much. What the problem in details?
