Hi all,

Does anyone know where / how can I check the source code or SQL SELECT statement of an SQVI query?

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find an answer to this question?

I have the same question myself.  In fact, I would like to have the functionality to both check and modify the SQL statement.

Hi Chee/Jeremiah ,

Please follow below mentioned path to find the SQL statement corresponding to a SQVI query :-

Transaction SQVI -> Select the SQVI Query -> Quick View (Top left) -> Additional Functions -> Display report Name .

This will give you report name corresponding to SQVI Query. Then goto SE38 give the report name and press F7 .

Usually the first FM call in "start-of-selection" will have the desired SQL statement, so double click on the FM and search for SQL statement .

Thanks

Hi Prateek,

please don't reply to older posts, the person who have posted this question is not still waiting for your replies.

Original person might not be waiting for my reply, but this may be helpful for new comers who may still have this query .... anyways nobody answered this & there is no space problem in SCN

Thanks much for the info, Prateek!

There is no "statute of limitations" on giving a correct answer to a previously-unanswered question.
