Hi

As said in the title,i need to create 2 templates in my main window that should be side by side.Nothing unusual no,but my problem is that i cannot use the absolute vertical alignment because i have a table in my main window that can stretch on several pages, and i need these 2 templates at the end ot the table side by side.

thanks

Hi,

It is not possible to create two templates side by side with out supporting windows. Means it is not possible to locate second template left margin. So try to create single template with required lines and palce the same under table node in main window, as a result this template will automatically calls up at the end of table.

If creation of sinlge template is not possible in your case, then create two windows with two corresponding templates and call those conditonally at the end of main window. But the problem is the placement of those windows is at fixed postions ( means may not be trigger at the end of table data)

Hope this gives you some idea.

Hi

I cannot create one single template because on the left i have a single big window and on the right i have several rows. This cannot be made in a single template unfortunately.

The part with 2 windows is not possible because i can have 20 or 2000 eintries in my table and i will not know where to place my two windows.

i think u hv to fix the two windows at some place at end of main window and then in the conditions tab put a condition so that windows are visible only after end of main window, there's a checkbox that put conditin after end of main window

Hi Seba,

I have same problem. As you marked it answered so can you guide me please how you solved it? ...

How you managed your window without overlapping by main window.

Hi,

Templete -> Templete Tab -> Vertical Alignment -> You should keep Absolute from top.

Horizontal alignment is you can keep what distance from left by giving number of CM's.

This will work.

Hi

the vertical alignment option works if you do not have to dinamically change the position of the templates, but otherwise it work ok

In the end i have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to dinamically set the position of the windows and i have agreed with the customer to place them in the footer of the page in the end.

I don't understand why you can't print the template just below the last line of the table! (as you seem to indicate that you print the template at a fixed position)

Note: as already said above, 2 templates side by side is not possible --> simply merge them into 1 template. And you can insert the template inside the MAIN window (I don't understand your remark before the last one)

My 2 windows are different, they do not have the same size, the same number of rows, number of columns and as a conclusion,i cannot build such an complex window using a single template,i have already tried it.

u can try and create two windows side by side and make them overlap the main window, and put a cindition so that the windows get printed after end of main window,

or create a single templete with double the no. of columns, and arrange ur data likewise

Hi,

I cannot use two separate windows, because i will not know where the table in the main window will end,and that's why, maybe my 2 windows will overlap my table entries(i do not know where to position the two new windows).

I tried creating a template that will contain booth of my templates, but they have to look like 2 separate windows and i cannot do this in a single template.
