SAP CPI Mail connectivity via SAP Cloud connector

Hi Team,

We have a requirement to connect on-premise mail server (not outlook) via CPI and SCC as per below blog.

Would like to understand if anyone done similar configuration successfully.

Please share the configurations required at CPI Receiver mail adapter level. (how connectivity established between CPI and SCC)? (how Transport level security is ensured)? Kindly confirm.

Dear Suresh,

There is a risks if you want to use the TCP/SSL connection, the cloud connector cannot block any undesired requests to the backend system as the cloud connector has no information about the used protocol.

It is described in the KBA: 2533473 - [TCP connections pose a considerable security risk] for SCC(SAP Clould Connector)
